How Vecca books Las Vegas — the $0 consumer fee model, which platforms we go through (OpenTable, Tock, Tixr, Club Bookers), why a Vegas concierge fee is built into commission rather than added on, and exactly what happens when you click “book.” Everything below applies to every booking Vecca makes for a visitor.
OpenTable Does Vecca book through OpenTable?
Yes. Vecca books restaurant reservations through OpenTable using its partner reservation API. When you ask Vecca for a table, it queries real-time OpenTable availability for the requested restaurant, party size, and time, then confirms the booking inside the OpenTable system on your behalf.
Tock Does Vecca book through Tock?
Yes. Tock powers ticketed dining experiences and chef-driven tasting menus across Las Vegas, and Vecca books those reservations through Tock. That covers prix-fixe menus, exclusive Experiences, and limited-release chef events you would otherwise have to source yourself from Tock directly.
Tixr Does Vecca book through Tixr?
Yes. For venue ticketing in Las Vegas — clubs, concerts, and select live events — Vecca books through the Tixr API. Tixr is the primary ticketing platform for many Vegas venues, and Vecca goes through Tixr instead of booking the same show on a different marketplace.
Club Bookers Does Vecca book through Club Bookers?
Yes. For Vegas nightlife and bottle-service reservations, Vecca books through Club Bookers — the industry-standard platform for Las Vegas club guest lists, table reservations, and DJ-event entries. Vecca acts as the front-of-house concierge while Club Bookers issues the actual reservation.
How does the $0 consumer fee work? When do I pay anything as a visitor?
Visitors pay the standard price the venue or platform charges. Vecca does not add a concierge fee, service charge, or booking markup on top — there is no consumer-facing fee at all. The revenue comes from referral commissions the venue or partner platform pays Vecca after the booking is honored, which is why the product is free for visitors.
Why do prices vary so much from one restaurant or venue to another?
Every line item you see on a booking is set by the venue itself — base tickets, Experiences, prix-fixe surcharges, bottle-service minimums, cabana rentals, and per-row seat premiums are all venue-controlled. Vecca does not impose a platform fee, and the price difference row-to-row reflects what each venue charges for its own upsells, not what we add. Higher prices on a particular listing almost always mean an upgraded venue option or a venue-curated Experience, not a charge by Vecca.
How does the click-and-book flow actually work?
Three steps. (1) Message Vecca — tell it what you want in plain language (a table, tickets, a night out). (2) Vecca works it — Vecca checks real-time availability across the relevant platforms (OpenTable, Tock, Tixr, Club Bookers, plus ticket marketplaces), returns options, and locks one in once you confirm. (3) You show up — Vecca sends a confirmation with the venue, time, and any reference code, and handles changes on the fly. Nothing to download, no call to make.
